Apologies for the unpersonal message, but it's mega buck per kb! Hi
Dad ! hugh, and mtl francesca
Lapin princess. Currently over the noise of my music I can her the
booming of man made avalanches! They set them off so that skiers
don't! So like bombs in the snow!

So, so far! Sunday was a very long day, up at 5ish and off to gatwick.

On Landing in Geneva, we realize we are certainly in for snow!

3 hours and half a movie later we arrive at a snowy train station in
Tach where we then took the mountain train in to zermatt town, it's
the only way I think and there are No petrol vehicles just silent
Milk float type things and golf carts! They creep up on you! Aparantly
they are known as silent death! U can guess why!

Our challet isn't too far from the bubble you must take up, altho id
prefer a chair lift!

It's nice and clean and far better than the place in march!

So on to the skiing, there has been an awefull lot of snow, in fact it
hasn't stopped that much which isn't good if you want to see the floor
or mountains or for all the pistes to open!

As you know I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago, fell out of the car on
Friday and then yesterday before we had even put our skiis on I
slipped while carrying it all to the bubble! I sat on the side of the
road for about 10 mins gritting my teeth as a wave of blinding pain
( I think I saw blue) hit me, the orginal sprain didn't feel that bad!

So after I had stopped balling and being dramatic I was helped up, we
got in the bubble and I sat there in a terrible mood stuffing into my
mouth a combination of cough sweets ( cold too) ibuprofen, sudafed st.
Etc. Get it! So the outlook was looking appalling!!

We finally got to the top! Or just really the first place we could
try! It didn't feel so worse! How could it! So in the pitch White ;)
we career off into a snow drift with about 4 others where we all
realize there'sno way, it was hell at high altitude(like having asthma
I suppose), luckily for me, through the pain I had a moment of clairty
( sudafed working?) I used my stick to find the best way out! James on
the otherhand took his skis off and waded out in the deep stuff hihih

Any way after that skiing in zero visability wasn't fun, painfull
horrid!

We finished early, put james's skis in for a recalibration and then I
spent the rest of the afternoon in some sort of delerium!

Day 2!
Was clearing outside, had breakfast and the usuall morning chats
*yawn* walked in my boots to the bubble so carefully! Managed to make
it to the piste! Without more damage, not many lifts open tho. Morning
was a bit horrid and I was thinking about getting a refund on my very
expensive lift pass, but after a brief clear spell(ie no low cloud ) I
managed to get it together and not hurt myself with each left turn, so
we had a good afternoon and now my spirits are returning so IF it gets
clear tomorrow and I don't twist my self, fall or whatever I'm likely
to do things are on the up!

They are saying that the snow reports not good! Well it's good if your
here next week!

James says hi! He has just been to Internet cafe where they gobbled
his money away and he don't even have an email! Well not the one he
was expecting!

Canapes in 15 mins and wine! Then dinner at 8, we will drink less
tonight!

Suppose this is good practice for next year! Maybe I'll try and make a
note of the actuall runs I do. Now there's a challenge x
